Celebrating disabilities beyond the paralympics
The Paralympics are a great British tradition. In 1948 we had the Stoke Mandeville Games, over the years this grew and eventually we had the first Paralympic games in Rome in 1960. Since then, we had the Paralympics every 4 years, and this led to the formation of the International Paralympic Committee in 1989.
Gender at the Paris 2024 Olympics
In many ways, the Paris Olympic Games were very positive for gender equality.
